Women’s volleyball Wins Two ACC Matches on the Road

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson volleyball team defeated Duke and Wake Forest on a road trip through North Carolina earlier this week. The team took a 15-8, 15-9, 10-15, 15-10 win over Duke Tuesday night in Durham.

Stephanie Schulz recorded 10 block assists to push her career total to 372, breaking the Clemson career assist record of 367. Schulz recorded a triple-double versus the Blue Devils, with 11 kills, 10 digs and 12 blocks. Junior Cindy Stern led the team with a .474 attack percentage (21 kills, three errors, 38 attempts). Skye Frost had a double-double with 10 kills and 22 digs. The Tigers defeated Wake Forest 15-13, 15-12, 16-18, 10-15, 15-10 Wednesday night in Winston-Salem. Freshman Jodi Steffes led the team with a .283 attack percentage (19 kills, four errors, 53 attempts). Steffes recorded 32 digs for a double-double.

Alison Coday had 23 kills to lead the team, and Skye Frost recorded 32 digs. As a team, Clemson had 141 digs in the match. Five players had a double-double, including setter Missy Kudelka, who had 68 assists and 11 digs.

Clemson (15-6, 7-3 ACC) will play host to Georgia State Saturday at 7 p.m.
