Women’s Track & Field Completes Day One at Virginia Tech Invitational

Blacksburg, VA – The Clemson women’s track & field team completed day one at the Virginia Tech Invitational on Friday evening. The Lady Tigers were led by Katie Farnan’s performance in the high jump, as she posted a mark of 1.59m to finish 11th.

In the 60m dash, Ope Sobanjo, Thea Dix, Patrice McMillan, and Casey Phillips completed the event in a time of 12:52.98. The B team from Clemson finished in 13:52.38.

Krissy Thompson and Beth Jordan competed in the pole vault, while Della Clark finished fifth in flight #3 of the weight throw with a mark of 17.50m. Rochelle Kokayko hit a mark of 17.34m in the same event.

The Lady Tigers return to action Saturday at 12:00 PM.
