Women’s Track And Field To Compete At Raleigh Relays

The Clemson women’s track and field team will compete at the Raleigh Relays, hosted by NC State, this Friday and Saturday. The Lady Tigers will begin competition on Friday at 10:00 AM with the shot put, and finish the first day of the meet with the sprint medley relay scheduled for 5:20 PM. Clemson will return to the Paul H. Derr Track at 11:00 AM Saturday for the pole vault, and conclude competition with the 4x400m relay slated for 4:50 PM.

On Friday, Allison Bradshaw will open competition for the Lady Tigers at 10:00 AM in the shot put. At 10:45 AM, Jennifer Hooten will compete in the 5000m. Gisele Oliveira and Ramera Nero in the long jump at noon. The preliminaries of the 100m hurdles will feature Clemson’s Marquita Dortch at 12:30 PM, and Nero will compete in the 100m preliminaries at 1:30 PM. At 2:00 PM, Krystal Woods will compete in the discus throw, then the action returns to the track. Denise Cruse and Dortch will compete in the 400m at 2:40 PM, and Silja Ulfarsdottir, Shakirah Rutherford and Katrina Moultrie will compete in the 400m hurdles at 3:50 PM. The Lady Tigers’ sprint medley relay team will conclude competition for Clemson on Friday at 5:20 PM.

Clemson’s action on Saturday will begin at 11:00 AM as Gisele Oliveira, Ramera Nero and Katrina Moultrie will be featured in the triple jump at 2:00 PM. Clemson’s 4x200m relay team is slated to compete at 2:15 PM, and the 4x400m relay team concludes the Lady Tigers’ competition at the meet at 4:50 PM.
