Women’s Track And Field Team To Compete Cyclone National Qualifier On Saturday

Selected members of the Clemson women’s track and field team will travel Ames, IA, to compete in the Cyclone National Qualifier on Saturday. This is the last weekend that Division I student-athletes can compete to qualify for the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships. Silja Ulfarsdottir, Jessica Cousins, Randi Hinton and Sierra Hill will represent the Lady Tigers this weekend.

All four Lady Tigers will compete in the 200m dash, and Ulfarsdottir may also compete in the 400m dash. She is currently ranked 18th in the 400m with a season-best time of 53.51 set at the Tyson Invitational. The Lady Tigers’ 4x400m relay team of Ulfarsdottir, Cousins, Hinton and Hill own a season-best effort of 3:38.81, and are ranked 23rd nationally.
