CLEMSON, SC – As part of Itoro Coleman’s approach to becoming a well-rounded program, the team, which just won a game at No. 21 North Carolina, took some time off the court to visit Our Daily Bread soup kitchen in Seneca, SC.
On each of the previous two Mondays, Jan. 9th and Jan. 16th, student-athletes and coaches from the women’s basketball team volunteered their morning hours at the facility.
The team arrived at 9:30 am each morning and got busy setting up and preparing to feed a hot meal to 80-100 walk-ins and stayed through the completion of each meal service, helping to clean up afterwards.
The student-athletes were able to talk with the clients and the clients were thrilled to meet members of the team.
