Women’s Golf in Eighth Heading Into FSU Matchup Final Round

Tallahassee, Fla. – Women’s golf sits alone in eighth place after two rounds of the FSU Matchup on the 6,255-yard, par-72 Seminole Legacy golf course in Tallahassee, Fla. The Tigers will look to move up in the leaderboard with a strong finish on Sunday.

“Our good was very good today, but we had too many big numbers,” said head coach Kelley Hester. “Scoring conditions were perfect with warm temps and not much wind. Thankfully, we made some birdies coming in.”

As a team, Clemson finished Saturday’s round at +19 and sits at +31 overall for the tournament. Annabelle Pancake rebounded from a tough first round to lead Clemson Saturday with a 75 (+3), including going -1 on the front nine. Lindsay May finished the day at 76 (+4), while Melena Barrientos recovered from a +7 front nine to shoot even par on the back nine, including three birdies.
