Women’s Cross Country Finishes Third at Greensboro Invitational

Greensboro, NC – The Clemson women’s cross country team finished third at the Greensboro Invitational held Saturday morning. The University of South Florida won the event with 31 points while Iowa State was second with 37 points.

Senior Erika van Reenen led the Tigers with a sixth place finish in 18:15 while junior Perry Fields was eleventh with a time of 18:32. Senior Jennifer Meador finished 15th with a time of 19:02 while freshman Renee Keydoszius was 26th (19:14). Freshman Kristi Toothman finished 26th (19:57) while fellow rookie Heather Nichols was 34th (20:16). Freshman Jennifer Zawislak was 55th with a time of 21:51.

The Tigers compete at The Citadel Invitational next Saturday (Oct. 7) in Charleston, S.C.
