CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson women’s basketball team will play a 40-minute scrimmage open to the public on Tuesday at 6:00 pm in Littlejohn Coliseum. Admission is free to the event.
The scrimmage will be held in conjunction with the Orange Brigade Tip-off dinner, which will be held in the Tiger Den at Memorial Stadium at 5:00 pm.
The Lady Tigers will suit up against a five-member scout team for the duration of the scrimmage. It will be a first chance to check out the nation’s No. 16 recruiting class in action, along with the seven returning letterwinners.
The Tigers return five players who started 15 or more games last season for 2012-13, including leading scorer Nikki Dixon (12.4 ppg) and leading rebounder, Quinyotta Pettaway (7.2 rpg).
Clemson opens this season on Nov. 11, but will play an exhibition against Anderson University on Nov. 2 and another Orange and Purple scrimmage on Nov. 5.
