Women’s Basketball Team To Play Host To Maryland Sunday

CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson women’s basketball team will play host to the Maryland Terrapins on Sunday, February 9, 2003 at 2:00 PM in Littlejohn Coliseum. Fans bringing a church bulletin to the game will receive free admission.

Maryland holds a 28-22 lead in the series. The Lady Tigers defeated the Terrapins earlier this season (Jan. 9) at College Park, MD, by a score of 70-59.

Clemson enters the game with an overall record of 11-10 and a conference mark of 3-7. Most recently, the Lady Tigers lost to second-ranked Duke, 49-61, in Littlejohn Coliseum.

Senior guard Chrissy Floyd leads the Lady Tigers in scoring, averaging 16.8 points per game. Freshman center Amanda White leads the team in rebounding with a 6.9 rebounds-per-game average.

Maryland enters the game with a 9-12 overall record, and a 3-7 mark in the conference. The team is led in scoring by Renneika Razor, who is averaging 16.1 points per game. Delvonna Oliver leads the team in rebounding, pulling down 7.1 rebounds per game.
