CLEMSON, SC – Erin Batth paced the Lady Tigers with 18 points and 11 rebounds as Clemson defeated the Dyanamo Kiev team from the Ukraine 86-71 tonight November 14 at Littlejohn Coliseum.
The Lady Tigers finish the preseason with a 2-0 record having already defeated the Uralmash-UMMC team 91-81 Sunday November 5.
Batth, a senior from Marietta, GA, reached the double-double by shooting 9-15 from the floor and grabbing three offensive and eight defensive rebounds. Three other Lady Tigers also scored in double figures. Sophomore Chrissy Floyd poured in 16 points while Marci Glenney and Lakeia Stokes each scored 12. Andrea Gaines nearly missed recording her own double-double as she scored eight points and pulled down nine rebounds.
Kanetra Queen dished out three assists as well. Olena Krasvoron scored 16 points for the Ukranian team while Oksana Stavitskaya and Elena Jedyk scored 13 apiece.
The lady Tigers will open the regular season this Saturday when they will travel to Champagne, IL to take on the Illinois Fighting Illini.
