WHAT TO WATCH FOR

Senior guard Danielle Edwards is just 17 points away from eclipsing the 1,000-point mark in her career. She’d become just the 24th player in program history to reach that milestone and the first player since 2015 (Nikki Dixon).

Clemson ranks in the national top 40 in six statistical categories including total rebounds (11), total steals (9) and free throws made (18). Three Tigers rank in the top 20 in the individual categories as Kobi Thornton sits in 18th for field goals made (77), while Danielle Edwards and Simone Westbrook frank fifth and 15 in total steals, respectively.

The Tigers host Marshall for their fifth consecutive Education Day game. Clemson is looking to set a new attendance record for Education Day games, anticipating over 3,000 school children at Tuesday’s matchup with Marshall.

Despite coming up short on Sunday, the Tigers eclipsed the 80-point mark for the third straight game, a feat that has not been done since the 2000-01 season (four games). Clemson has now scored at least 80 points in four games this season, marking the first time this has occurred since 2006-07.
