At 6:49 of the first half Nikki Dixon drew her 7th charge of the season and 16th of her career which is 2nd among Clemson’s active players.

Natiece Ford shot 9-10 from the free-throw line, which sets a career high for most FT in a game. The previous high was four which she had against Wake Forest on January 13, 2013.

Ford finished with 15 points which, is the second most points she has scored in a game in her career. Her personal best is 16 which she set against Wake Forest on January 13, 2013. This was the third time that she scored in double figures in her career.

Ford’s 10 FT attempts ties the season high for any player on Clemson this season. Her nine makes are the second most in a game for Clemson this season (Dixon, 10-10, 12/30/12)

Clemson went on a 16-2 run from 12:29 to 4:45 in the second half which included 9 points from Ford

Quinyotta Pettaway scored in double figures for the 16th time this season with her 12 points today, all of which came in the second half. She entered the game averaging 10.2 ppg on the season and 11.3 ppg in ACC play

Team Notes:

The two lowest FG% that ACC opponents have had against Clemson both came from VT. VT is also the only ACC school to shoot 30% or worse from the field for the game.
