PREVIEW

  • The Clemson Tigers will welcome the Ospreys of North Florida to campus on Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 1 p.m in a game that will be live on the ACCNX.
  • Clemson comes into the game 2-2 following a great 67-64 home win over Penn State, a game where Gabby Elliott led the Tigers with 19 points and Delicia Washington record her first double-double of the season with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
  • North Florida comes into the game with a 4-1 record and coming off an 85-79 win over Florida Atlantic and are off to the program’s best start through five games in UNF DI history. The Ospreys are ranked in the top 20 nationally in a number of statistical categories.
  • In the last meeting between the two teams on Dec. 1, 2013, the Ospreys held Clemson to just 48 total points but the Tigers turned the defense up in the second half and turned UNF over, and held them to just 44 points.
  • This will be just the second meeting between the two teams’ all-time.
  • Elliott will look to continue her hot play after scoring 19 points against Penn State and going 3-for-3 from beyond the 3-point arc in the game at South Carolina.
  • Delicia Washington leads the Tigers in scores with 13.3 points per game and she also averaging 6.8 rebounds per game.
  • Clemson scored 31 points in the second quarter against Columbia and that was the most in any quarter since moving to the quarter format back in 2015.
