CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson volleyball team is ranked 14th nationally according to the AVCA Division I Coaches Poll released this week, moving up one spot from last week’s 15th-place ranking. The Tigers received 660 points in the poll. Last week Clemson defeated Maryland and Virginia on the road.
“We know we have a big weekend ahead with North Carolina and NC State,” said Clemson head coach Jolene Jordan Hoover, now in her seventh season with the Tigers. “We’re in a position where we need to beat Carolina at their place to have a chance for the regular season championship. NC State is always strong, and they’re having a great year. We’re looking forward to the weekend.”
Clemson (18-1, 7-1 ACC) will travel to North Carolina Friday at 7 p.m. and will play at NC State on Saturday at 5 p.m.
