CLEMSON, SC – The Clemson volleyball team will close their spring schedule Saturday with a tournament that includes Georgia State and USC Upstate. All matches are free to the public and take place in Jervey Gym. Clemson plays Georgia State at 10:00 am, and Upstate at 2:00 pm. The Panthers and Spartans will play one another at 12:00 pm.
Clemson has won all three matches this spring, which includes a 3-0 win against Wofford, a 3-0 win against UNC Asheville, and a 3-1 win over South Carolina last Friday.
The Tigers are 12-2 in fall play against georgia State all-time, and 5-2 against USC Upstate, although they have not met since 1979.
In the most recent match, Karis Watson led four players in double-digit kills with 16 of her own, while Kalah Jones, Beta Dumancic, and Mo Simmons each racked up ten-plus.
The Tigers will have six more players joining in the fall as they’ll try to help replace Sandra Adeleye, Natalie Patzin, Serenat Yaz, and Alexa Rand.
