CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson volleyball program and head coach Jackie Simpson Kirr has finalized the 2023 spring schedule. The schedule includes four events, including two matches to occur in Jervey Gym. All four matches are free and open to the public. Match times will be determined at a later date.
The schedule includes matchups against Georgia, at South Carolina, at College of Charleston and vs. Wofford.
Coming off its 2022 season in which Clemson was invited to the National Invitational Volleyball Championship (NIVC) to make the first postseason appearance since 2018. Coach Simpson Kirr’s team will look to build upon last season’s success that included tallying the most kills (1,575) since 2018, most total attacks (4,288) and digs (1,729) since 2013 and the most aces (186) since 2004.
Clemson returns 10 players from the 2022 season, including two players that earned ACC Volleyball postseason honors in graduate Mckenna Slavik (Second Team) and sophomore Mia McGrath (All-Freshman). To help bolster the roster, the Tigers added three transfers in Katie Culumovic (Mississippi State), Adria Powell (Ohio State) and Katie Hurta (Penn State).
