This 2008-2009 school year, the Vickery staff welcomes back 381 returning student-athletes and 117 incoming student-athletes. The new Tigers come from South Carolina, Georgia, Texas, Massachusetts, and even all the way from Romania! They represent a wide variety of sports and majors, from sociology, to business, to general engineering.
Vickery Hall is commited to once again providing quality academic support to its 498 student-athletes. This year, along with seven academic advisors, four learning specialists, two administrative assistants, a director and an IT specialist, Vickery Hall has over one hundred highly trained tutors in a variety of subjects, monitors, class checkers, IT support, and front desk assistants prepared to begin the new school year.
Entering its 16th year of operation, Vickery Hall is undergoing some renovations with new computers, an updated look, and the addition of four brand new Promethean Activboards to enhance student-athletes’ learning opportunities.
