Blacksburg, VA – Clemson’s men’s track & field team completed competition at the Virginia Tech Invitational on Saturday from the Rector Field House on the Hokie campus. Two Tigers posted NCAA-qualifying marks on Saturday, giving Clemson four over the weekend. Clemson also won two events, including the high jump and 4x400m relay, and Mitch Greeley moved into second place in the Tiger record books in the pole vault with his performance on Saturday.
Adam Linkenauger posted a NCAA provisional mark in the high jump with a clearance of 2.19m/7’2.25″ in claiming first place in the event. Lydell Perry, Rashad Gardner) claimed first place with a time of 3:16.77.
Lydell Perry was sixth in the finals with an 8.25.
In the field events, freshman Andrew Kessler, to tie for ninth in that event. Mike Feathers and Kenny Knox also competed in that event for the Tigers.
The Tigers return home on January 20-21 to play host to the Clemson Invitational at the Tigers’ Indoor Track Facility.
