Two Tigers Named to 2006 All-ACC Academic Men’s Cross Country Team

March 29, 2007

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Greensboro, NC – Two members of the 2006 men’s cross country team were honored by the league office as part of the All-ACC Academic team on Friday. Sam Bryfczynski and Bryce Iverson were part of the 20-man group that compiled this year’s honorees.

Iverson was an All-ACC performer last fall for the Tigers after finishing in eighth place at the conference meet. He also earned All-Region honors with a 15th-place showing at Louisville. Iverson is majoring in Engineering.

Bryfczynski earned an individual title after winning the season-opening Clemson Invitational last fall. He is a two-time letterwinner for Bob Pollock’s cross country squad. Bryfczynski, who was ACC Performer of the Week after earning that individual title, is majoring in Computer Science.
