CLEMSON, SC – Clemson divers Craig Thomas and Betsy Potter will compete at the Zone B Diving Championships this Friday and Saturday. The Zone B meet will be hosted by the University of Georgia.
Thomas, a sophomore from Maryville, TN, qualified to compete with a one-meter score of 290 at the University of Alabama earlier this season. He posted a season-high three-meter board score of 310. Thomas finished second at the ACC Championships on the one-meter board, earning All-ACC honors.
Potter, a senior from Elmira, NY, qualified several times this season. She had a season-best one-meter performance of 255 and a season-high score of 270 on the three-meter board.
Both divers will compete on the one and three meter boards at the Zone Championships. If they qualify this weekend, they will compete in the NCAA Championships later this month.
