Clemson, S.C. – Twelve members of Team One were named to the All-ACC Academic Team, the conference announced on Friday.
Minimum academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career. The athletic requirement for student-athletes is to have played in at least 50 percent of competition.
Eight of the 12 gymnasts are transfers and the list includes one is a redshirt sophomore, a redshirt freshman and two true freshmen. Molly Arnold, Trinity Brown, Brie Clark, Eve Jackson, Kielyn McCright and Rebecca Wells were each named Academic All-MRGC during their time at Utah State, while Lauren Rutherford was a 2x All-EAGL Scholastic Team member at NC State and Kaitlin DeGuzman was named to the SEC Winter Sports Academic Honor Roll at Kentucky.
