Clemson is set for its second outdoor meet of the 2019 season, the UNF Spring Break Invitational in Jacksonville, Florida.
The meet will serve as a prequel to the 2019 NCAA East Prelims, which the Ospreys will also host May 23-25.
Clemson is coming off its first outdoor meet, Georgia Tech’s Yellow Jacket Invitational, where the Tigers saw three victories in the throws, sweeping titles in both the men’s and women’s discus and the women’s shot put.
The Clemson throw also combined for five program top-10 bests.
The Tigers’ jumpers – outside of Anthony Hamilton – are set to make their outdoor debut after either resting or participating in the 100m dash at last weekend’s meet. Last weekend, Hamilton (high jump) was the lone jump to participate in their natural event.
Morgan Wittrock and Mikie Harris will be the first Tigers to take a dip in steeplechase (3000m) water this season. This weekend’s race marks Wittrock’s fifth career 3000m steeplechase and Harris’ second.
The Tigers will give it another go this weekend in both the 4x100m and 4x400m relays. Clemson will drape three units in the women’s 4x400m and two in the men’s race.
