Notes

  • Clemson takes to the outdoor track for the fourth time this weekend at Texas A&M’s The Reveille.
  • The meet features Texas A&M, Baylor, Illinois, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas Tech and the Arkansas women.
  • The first event kicks off at 1:30 p.m. (EST) with the women’s hammer, while the first track event is slated for 6 p.m. (EST) in the women’s 4x100m relay.
  • The Tigers are coming off their third meet of the season – the Florida Relays – in which the Tigers arguably performed at their highest so far this season.
  • At Florida Relays, freshman Roje Stona rewrote his own freshman record and Clemson’s No. 2 all-time mark in the discus. Stona achieved a distance of 61.22m (200-10) to win the Invite section this past Saturday. For his efforts, Stona was crowned the ACC Men’s Field Performer of the Week.
  • Additionally, Grant Voeks won the College section of the men’s discus this past Friday on a career best toss – 55.73m (182-10.25) – to remain at No. 5 all-time in CU history.
  • All four relay teams, between the men and women’s 4x100m and 4x400m, had standout performances. The men’s 4x100m and both 4x400m teams achieved season bests, while the women’s 4x100m nearly matched its season bests.
