The Clemson men’s track and field team will host the Tiger Invitational this Saturday, Feb. 14, at the Clemson Indoor Track and Field Facility. Twenty-three teams will be competing at this weekend’s meet. The meet is slated to begin at 11:00 AM with the distance medley relay, and the field events will start at 11:30 AM with the high jump. This will be the Tigers’ final meet prior to the ACC Championships that will be held at Clemson Feb. 20-21.
On the track, Ronald Richards, Ronald Richards, Robert Ibeh will represent Clemson in the 200m. The 400m dash field will include Clemson’s Rashad Gardner and Scott Kautz, while Mike Foley, Ahmad Rutherford and Clay Pendleton will compete in the 800m. Four Tigers will run in the mile race, including Clay Pendleton and Matt Pimentel, and Matt Pimentel, Greg Isaacs will run in the 3000m. The Tigers will field three distance medley relay teams and three 4x400m relay teams as well.
Brent Hobbs, Ben Daniels, Ryan Koontz, Ryan Koontz, Ryan Koontz, Ryan Hunter, Nick Caramanico and Nick Caramanico and Danny Alge will compete in the weight throw.
