Once again, Clemson Athletics is encouraging all Tiger fans to show their spirit and wear orange for the One Clemson…Solid Orange event that will take place on Saturday, Jan. 24, as Head Coach Bob Pollock and Head Coach Marcia Noad’s men’s and women’s track teams host the Clemson Invitational, featuring ACC rivals Florida State, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, NC State and Wake Forest along with Oklahoma, Georgia, Charlotte and Coastal Carolina.

Clemson teams are currently 7-1 in 2003-04 One Clemson…Solid Orange events. The first 250 fans attending Saturday’s track and field meet will receive a free One Clemson…Solid Orange…It’s About Pride t-shirt.

During the 2003-2004 season, at selected men’s and women’s basketball, men’s soccer and baseball games, an additional fee will be applied to each game ticket sold for the designated One Clemson…Solid Orange event. The proceeds from these events will be used for specific One Clemson academic efforts, as directed by President Barker. The goal is to produce a sell-out and spirited crowd, recognize the University wide accomplishments, promote all sports, show Clemson spirit and raise much needed funds to support Clemson University’s Top 20 goals.

To date, the Clemson University Athletic Department has generated $21,031 for the One Clemson Fund. At the final One Clemson…Solid Orange event of the year, the April 7th baseball game against the University of South Carolina, a check will be presented to Clemson University.

Show your support and pride by attending each One Clemson…Solid Orange event for the 2004 season.
