GAFFNEY, SC – The Clemson men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams will travel to Gaffney to face the Limestone Saints on Saturday. The meet will begin at 1 p.m.
“We are looking forward to traveling to Limestone for our first true away meet of the season,” Head Coach Christopher Ip said. “It is always nice to evaluate the program on the road to see their competitiveness in a new environment.
“Not only are we competing against Limestone, but all programs across the country competing this weekend. The team needs to take what we have worked on in practice during the week and execute in a meet situation.”
The 1-0 Tigers will return to the pool for the first time since October 1, when they earned a neutral-site sweep against the Davidson Wildcats.
Both the men’s and women’s teams at Limestone are 2-0 for the season, boasting victories over Mars Hill and King College. The Division II Saints also competed in the Pfeiffer Invitational last weekend, where their men finished in second place and their women finished in third.
