Tigers to compete in Briar?s Creek Invitational

JOHNS ISLAND, S.C. – 17 teams will compete in the second annual Briar’s Creek Invitational March 24^th and 25^th at the Golf Club at Briar’s Creek on Johns Island, S.C. The Tigers, ranked as high as number 10, will tee off at 8:45 AM in a shotgun start and will play 36 continuous holes on Monday. The final round on Tuesday will also be a shotgun start and will begin at 9 AM.

Teams in the tournament include host school College of Charleston as well as southeastern schools Charleston Southern, Chattanooga, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, East Tennessee State, South Florida and GRU Augusta. Also competing in the tournament are Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Penn State, Princeton, Texas Tech and Wisconsin. Notre Dame won the inaugural team title as well as the individual title on the par-72 course last year.
