Tigers Tied for 16th Heading into Final Round

CLEMSON, S.C. – The Clemson women’s golf team sits in a tie for 16^th place through two rounds at the Schooner Fall Classic in Norman, Okla.  The tournament is being played at the par-70 Belmar Golf Club.

The Tigers shot a 12-over par 292 for a two day total of 587. Lauren Salazar had the best Clemson round of the day with an even par round of 70 and is tied for 22^nd place individually. Sophomore Jessica Hoang followed with a one-over par 71 and sophomore McKenzie Talbert with a four-over par 74. Freshman Marisa Messana shot seven-over and sophomore Sloan Shanahan eight-over.

Mississippi State still holds the lead at 10-under par and has an 11 shot lead over Kent State who sits in second place. The three-day tournament will conclude tomorrow. Live scoring can be followed on BirdieFire.com
