Tigers Set for 125th Penn Relays at Franklin Field

• Clemson returns for the quasquicentennial of the Penn Relays at Franklin Field.
• Last year’s outing was highlighted by the Tiger women winning the CoA sprint medley relay (SMR) with the combination of current Tigers Rebekah Smith and Kamryn McIntosh as well as former Tigers Torie Robinson and Fellan Ferguson. Additionally, Robinson and Smith went 1-2, respectively, in last year’s 100m dash.
• This year’s SMR races are slated for Friday beginning with the women at 6:05 p.m., and the men at 6:25 p.m.
• The Tigers will also compete in men’s 4x100m, CoA 4x200m, 4x400m, CoA men’s 4x800m, men’s DMR, women’s 4x100m, CoA women’s 4x200m, women’s 4x400m, CoA women’s 4x800m and the women’s DMR.
• As it currently stands, both the Tiger men and women would score points in each event from 100m-800m at the upcoming ACC Outdoor Championship.
• Four Tigers in Marcus Parker (200m), LaFranz Campbell (110mH), Lakeisha Warner (400mH) and Roje Stona (discus) would all score points based on their national rankings at the national outdoor meet.
• 30 Clemson entries – all four relays included – are currently in good standing to qualify for the 2019 East Prelims.
