  • Clemson’s roster features the most underclassmen in the ACC (13).
  • Clemson ranks fifth in the ACC in three-point field goal % defense (.273) and sixth in the league in offensive rebounds (16.3 per game).
  • Freshman Danielle Edwards has recorded three double-doubles through seven games; she is averaging 11.1 ppg, 7.6 rpg and 3.7 apg.
  • Edwards scored a career-high 23 points vs. Oregon on November 24, the most points scored by a Clemson freshman in the Audra Smith era and highest scoring total by a Tiger so far this season.
  • Edwards ranks in the top-10 in the ACC in rebounding (7.6 pg), assists (3.7 pg), free throw percentage (.889), offensive rebounds (3.1 pg), defensive rebounds (4.4 pg) and minutes (33.4 pg).
  • Sophomore and returning leading scorer Nelly Perry made her 2015-16 debut vs. Oregon after sitting out the first four games due to injury. She is averaging 16.0 ppg in the three games since her return.
  • Victoria Cardaci hit a career-high five threes vs. Furman; she has made 15 three-pointers through seven games (2.1 per game, 9th in the ACC).

Opponent & Series Notes:

  • Wednesday’s game marks the 17th meeting all-time between Clemson and SC State. The Tigers hold a 14-3 record in the series.
  • Clemson and SC State last played on December 21, 2014, a game in which the Tigers won 66-57 in Littlejohn Coliseum.
  • The Bulldogs are 2-2 on the season with wins over Wofford and Morris College and losses to Furman and UAB.
