Tigers Power Past Terriers For Tenth Win Of Season, 90-66

CLEMSON, S.C. (AP) -Freshman Trevor Booker scored 19 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the field to lead Clemson to a 90-66 win over Wofford on Tuesday night.

The Tigers (10-0) led by nine with 15 minutes left in the second half before pounding the ball inside to go on a 15-5 run that put the game away.

Booker scored six points and forward James Mays scored four points during the run. Clemson dominated inside, outscoring the Terriers 42 to 14 in the paint.

The Tigers shot 57 percent from the field in the first half and finished the game shooting 55 percent (37-of-67).

K.C. Rivers scored 18 points, Vernon Hamilton had 13 points and six assists, and Cliff Hammonds added 10 points and five assists for Clemson, which will take nearly two weeks off, not playing again until Dec. 19 against Georgia Southern.

Wofford (4-6) shot 37 percent (22-of-60) from the field and 42 percent (11-for-26) on 3-pointers.

Eric Marshall and Junior Salters each scored 20 points with Salters making six of his seven 3-pointers for the Terriers, who have lost five straight.
