Clemson Notes: 

  • The Clemson men’s tennis team plays its first three matches away from home this weekend, starting with a Friday, Feb. 8, 5 p.m. match against Princeton in Princeton, N.J.
  • On Sunday, Feb. 10, the Tigers play a doubleheader in West Point, N.Y., facing Binghamton in a neutral-site match at 10 a.m. and then the home team, Army, at 4 p.m.
  • The Tigers are 4-1 on the season and are coming off of a 5-2 loss to Elon
  • Two Clemson players remain undefeated in singles play on the season, freshman Teodor Giusca is 5-0 at No. 2 and No. 3 singles, and junior transfer Pierre-Louis Dodens is 4-0 at No. 4 and No. 5 singles.
  • The duo of Dodens and freshman Mike Agee is also undefeated, with a 5-0 record at No. 3 doubles.
  • Junior Simon Baudry is 3-2 in singles play, playing all five of his matches at the No. 1 singles position. Baudry is ranked No. 100 nationally in singles, after moving in to the rankings for the first time in 2019 in the poll released on Feb. 6.
