CLEMSON, S.C. — J.T. Horton’s team fired an opening round two-over par 290 to lead the Lady Paladin Invitational at the Furman University Golf Course in Greenville, S.C. Clemson is followed closely by New Mexico (+3), Wake Forest (+4) and Missouri (+5).
Freshman Alice Hewson was once again the top player for the Tigers, and sits alone by three shots in first place after an opening round 67.
