CLEMSON, S.C. — After Friday night’s electrifying win over ACC rival Duke, the Clemson men’s soccer team again finds itself in the top 10 of the United Soccer Coaches National Rankings. Its 17 spot leap from the 23rd slot to the sixth was the largest of any team this week.

The Tigers currently sit atop the ACC in the rankings, with three other conference foes finding themselves in the top-25. Clemson has scored 33 goals and allowed just 11 this season, placing them fifth nationally in goal differential.

Luis Felipe Fernandez-Salvador, who in just 42 minutes of play on Friday recorded an assist along with his game-winning overtime goal was named to the Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week for his efforts. The incredible victory kept the Tigers atop the ACC standings.

Fernandez-Salvador and the Tigers continue their ACC slate on Saturday night when they travel to Syracuse to take on the Orange. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. and the match will be streamed on ACCNX.
