Tigers Host Anderson in Exhibition Saturday

CLEMSON, S.C. — The men’s basketball program will hold its only public exhibition Saturday at 5 p.m. in Littlejohn Coliseum. Clemson hosts Anderson University, with admission free of charge. The game follows the women’s exhibition against Georgia State College and University at 2 p.m. Tickets are on sale for the regular season at ClemsonTigers.com or by calling 1-800-CLEMSON. The Tigers open the regular season at home on Friday, Nov. 14 against Florida A&M.

Brad Brownell’s program returns four starters from the 2013-14 NIT semifinal team. The Tigers are without the services of first-team All-ACC forward K.J. McDaniels, now a rookie with the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers. Rod Hall, Clemson’s leading returner in points and assists, leads the cast of returning starters that includes Jaron Blossomgame, Damarcus Harrison and Landry Nnoko.

Anderson returns two starters from a team that went 22-10 in the Division-II ranks last season. Myson Jones is the Trojans’ leading returning scorer, and Chris Ross the team’s top returning rebounder.
