After a successful first tournament of the season at the Mason Rudolph Championship, the Tigers hit the road once again as they head to Norman, Oklahoma from Sept. 27-29 for the Schooner Fall Classic.
The par-70, 6,084 yard Belmar Golf Club will be home to the 15-team field. Ivy Shepard will lead the way for the Tigers after last week’s T-10 finish followed by Ana Paula Valdes, Savannah Grewal, Alexandra Swayne and Lindsay May.
Host team Oklahoma will welcome teams from Florida State, Notre Dame, Texas, Houston, Miami, Alabama, Baylor, Louisville, Illinois, TCU, Texas A&M, Mississippi St., Texas St. and Clemson.
In the most recent polls, Clemson was dubbed as the 15th ranked team in the nation. The Tigers will join ranked opponents No. 2 Texas, No. 12 Houston and No. 23 Alabama in this weekend’s competition.
Live coverage of the event will be accessible on holes 11, 17 and 18 with on air coverage available for the first round from 1 p.m. till 4 p.m eastern time through Fox Sports Southwest and Fox College Sports Central. Live scoring can be found on Golfstat.com through the extent of the tournament.
