Raleigh, N.C. — Clemson is set to hit the water for its final race before the ACC Championships when it competes in the Lake Wheeler Sprints on Friday. The Tigers are set to go bow-to-bow against co-hosts No. 13 Duke and North Carolina in addition to Boston College, Central Florida, Miami, Stetson and Wisconsin (lightweight).
Last weekend, the Tigers put together another impressive showing, winning all five races at its home regatta against Oklahoma and North Carolina. Most notably from last weekend the 2V8+ clocked in at 7:12.7, nine seconds faster than its next best opponent and the 3V8+ turned in a time of 7:23.6, besting its lone competitor by over 30 seconds.
The two-day competition on Lake Wheeler begins on Friday at noon while racing on Saturday is slated to begin at 9:30 a.m.
