Tigers Finish Spring Exhibition Schedule Unbeaten

CLEMSON, S.C. – Jolene Jordan Hoover’s volleyball squad closed the spring exhibition season with 2-0 sweeps of Presbyterian College and Furman on Saturday in Jervey Gym. The Tigers won all four spring matches, including a five-set win over Georgia and a three-set win at Furman on April 1. 

In the morning match against PC, a 25-14, 25-15 victory, the Tiger offense hit a robust .321 with 22 kills against just five errors. Kristin Faust’s six kills led all players, while Karis Watson added five. Setter Megan Giardina had 17 assists and three kills, and Lou Davis had a team-high eight digs. 

Playing Furman for the second time in 11 days, Clemson once again did not drop a set in a 25-17, 25-23 victory. Irem Bayramoglu and Faust had seven kills apiece to lead the Tigers offensively, while libero Niki Collier had 17 digs.
