Tigers’ Doubles Team Falls In First Round Of NCAA Doubles Championship

ATHENS, GA – One doubles team competed for the Clemson men’s tennis team at the 2003 NCAA Doubles Championship at the University of Georgia. Clemson’s doubles team of sophomore Nathan Thompson and freshman Jarmaine Jenkins fell to Pepperdine’s Diego Acuna and Calle Hansen, 6-4, 6-4 in Athens, GA.

The NCAA Doubles Championship features the nation’s top 32 doubles teams. This was Clemson’s only entry in the NCAA Individual Tournament

Thompson and Jenkins finish the season at 22-12 overall and 19-12 in dual matches and they are currently ranked 22nd nationally.
