ORLANDO, Fla. – The Clemson Tigers officially completed their first outdoor event of the 2024 season as they wrapped up the UCF Black and Gold Invitational in Orlando.
Shining bright on the women’s side was freshman Silvia Jelelgo as she was the first to cross the line in the women’s 3000 meter. Jelelgo finished the event with a time of 9:28.51. In the women’s 800 meter, Ken’Naria Gadson recorded a second-place finish with a time of 2:06.74.
In the women’s 4×400 relay, the Clemson “A” team of Mackenzie Osher, Ken’Naria Gadson, Courtney Williams and Kenya Thompson recorded a third-place overall finish with a time of 3:33.39.
On the men’s side, Nate Ryan secured a fifth-place finish in the men’s 110 hurdles as he finished the event with a time of 14.41. In the 4×400 relay, the Clemson “A” team of Theron Bradford, Aman Thornton, Daniel Kidd and Brian Kweyei recorded a fourth-place finish with a time of 3:12.52.
