TIGERAMA 2001 “The Greatest Show on Earth!”
The 45th annual Tigerama, the largest student-run pep rally in the country, will be held on Friday, October 19, 2001 in Death Valley. Tigerama will begin at 7:00 pm with a pep rally, and the show will begin at 7:30 pm. Tickets are available in advance for $3.00 and may be purchased at the Clemson Athletic Ticket office, the Alumni Center, and at other local businesses. Tickets will be available at the gate for $4.00
This year’s theme is “The Greatest Show on Earth!” The evening will feature student organizations performing skits centered around a circus theme. There will also be clowns, balloons, and live circus animals on hand to thrill the crowd. Come see elephants, tigers, lions, and orangutans as they make their debut at Tigerama!
The evening will also include performances by Tiger Band, the Cheerleaders, Rally Cats, Tigeroar, Army ROTC, and the Flying Tigers Sky Diving Team.
The crowning of Miss Homecoming 2001 will also take place at Tigerama and will feature the Pershing Rifles.
This year we are thrilled to have Jane Robelot, former host of “CBS this Morning” and men’s basketball coach Larry Shyatt returning as one of our emcees. Also present will be Big Mo, current host of “Big Mo’s Morning Sports Show,”on the Upstate’s WCCP FM Super Sports Radio station. His role as a sports broadcast journalist has earned him interviews with sports figures such as Reggie White, Shaquille O’Neal, Randy Moss, Kevin Garnett, Kobe Bryant, and many more.
Tigerama will conclude with a fabulous fireworks display. Pyrotechnico, Inc. out of Pennsylvania will choreograph the show. Fireworks should begin by about 9:30 pm.

**In the event of rain, Tigerama will be moved to Littlejohn Coliseum.
