Tiger Student-Athletes Visit Cherokee Trail Elementary School

On Tuesday, October 20, two Tiger student-athletes visited Cherokee Trail Elementary School to present Clemson’s character education program, Be A T.I.G.E.R.!, as an assembly and to celebrate Red Ribbon Week. Darius Acker (track and field) and Maddie Tarantolo (swimming and diving) focused the assembly on staying drug-free and emphasized the importance of respecting yourself.

The student-athletes shared their messages by telling personal stories, playing games with the students and demonstrating skits. Over 400 students attended the assembly.
