This Day In Clemson Sports – October 4, 1992

On this day has been provided to ClemsonTigers.com by the authors of the book, Clemson: Where the Tigers Play. Three members of the Clemson Athletic family wrote the book: Associate Sports Information Director Sam Blackman, Sports Information Director Emeritus Bob Bradley and Men’s Tennis Coach Chuck Kriese.

October 4, 1992 – page 158 Jaro Zawislan broke a 23-year-old school record for most saves in a career. Zawislan had seven saves in the Old Dominion game, which gave him 280 career saves. Zawislan broke the record of Gary Pace (1967-69) who had 276.
