Third-Ranked Baylor and No. 23 VCU Tops Tigers

CLEMSON, S.C. — Third ranked Baylor defeated Clemson 6-1, while 23rd-ranked Virginia Commonwealth defeated the Tigers 5-1 in men’s intercollegiate tennis at Clemson, SC Sunday afternoon.

Clemson drops to 16-8 on the year. The Tigers are ranked 30th in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) poll. Baylor is ranked third and Virginia Commonwealth is ranked 23rd.

Clemson Head Coach Chuck Kriese has 498 career wins. Kriese will have a chance to win his 500th career match as the Tigers travel to Wake Forest on April 8, and will play host to North Carolina on April 10.
