This Saturday is Military Appreciation Day as Coach Swinney and his Tigers take on Wake Forest in the final home contest at Memorial Stadium this fall. The Tailgate Team will wrap up its second season across from the Scroll of Honor on Fort Hill Street adjacent to the Stadium Suites dorm. The tailgate will run from 12:00pm until 3:00pm. This week, the tailgate will feature a drawing for a premium gift, sport schedule cards, basketball posters, IPTAY information and plenty of giveaways. We will have our corn-hole set on hand for all to enjoy and possibly win some great prizes.
This Saturday, we will also have a social media component to the Tailgate Team. At an unannounced time this week, a tweet with a redeemable coupon will be released on the official IPTAY twitter handle @IPTAY_. Present this coupon via your mobile device to an IPTAY staff member at the tailgate on Saturday and receive the announced prize. Be sure to stop by and see us!
The Tailgate Team, returning for its second season, is comprised of IPTAY staff members who set up at a new location on campus for each home Clemson football game. Our tailgate is full of IPTAY information and giveaways for all tigers! The Tailgate Team looks to thank current IPTAY donors as well as market its various programs to the thousands of tiger fans who visit Clemson for a football game day. Football game days provide an excellent opportunity to market and grow the IPTAY brand to the Clemson Family as well as answer any questions from both potential and current IPTAY members in person. This fall, the Tailgate Team made seven stops across campus from Jervey Meadows to Bowman Field.
