Vickery Hall held its annual Honor Roll Awards Banquet on Monday, Feb. 20th at the Madren Center. Swimming & Diving had the most combined team members over the 3.0 GPA mark– a total of 49 student-athletes. Other awards won by the team are listed below:
NCAA Leadership Foundation Award: Jess Watcke
Bill D’Andrea Service Award: Kelly Urso
ACC Top Six Community Service Award: Peg Carter, Sarah Cefalu, Jess Watcke
Academic Team Award: Spring 05 Men’s Swimming and Diving, Women’s Swimming and Diving, Fall 05 Men’s Swimming and Diving
All Academic Team (highest GPA on team): Jay Crout, Ben Kanoy, Nichole Carlton
Academic Excellence Awards (honor roll for 7 consecutive semesters): Ben Kanoy, Ashley Shafer, Kelly Urso, Sarah Beth Wippermann
