Swimming & Diving Heads To Florida Atlantic Invitational

The Clemson swimming and diving teams head to Boca Raton, FL, to participate in the Florida Atlantic Invitational on Friday at 10:00 AM. The Tigers will take on host Florida Atlantic, Northern Arizona and Utah.

Clemson enters the meet after an impressive showing at the Indiana Invitational Nov. 22-24. The men finished third and the women fifth despite not participating on the final day because of travel arrangements. Elise Thieler and Rob Kummer swept the ACC Swimming and Diving Performer of the Week awards for their efforts. Theiler won the 100 fly and helped lead the 200 and 400 medley relay teams to victory. Kummer also won the 100 fly and helped lead the 400 medley team to victory.

Clemson’s men’s team is 3-2 on the year in dual meets, while the women’s squad is 2-4. The Utah women are 6-4 while the men are 4-4. Northern Arizona’s women’s team is 4-5 on the season and Florida Atlantic’s men’s and women’s teams have records of 1-1 and 0-3, respectively.
