Stern Earns ACC Co-Player Of The Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Clemson’s Cindy Stern and Virginia’s Mary Frances Scott share this week’s Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Week honors.

Stern, a middle blocker for the Tigers, led the team to victories over Georgia, Wake Forest and Duke. The Cincinnati, Ohio native averaged 4.70 kills per game, 2.50 digs per game, 1.60 blocks per game and a .314 hitting percentage.

Scott, a senior setter from Phoenix, Arizona, averaged 14.67 assists per game while chipping in 1.42 kills per game, 2.92 digs per game, 1.08 blocks per game and 0.33 service aces per game.
