Shuler Cotton

Shuler Cotton currently serves as the Assistant AD of Enterprise Systems and Analytics and has been back at Clemson in a full-time analytics role since 2022. Cotton spearheads initiatives aimed at empowering team members and captivating fans through strategic innovation. Notably, Cotton has worked on an in-house data infrastructure and engineering processes, significantly impacting revenue generation, athlete performance, and on-field/court strategy.

His expertise extends to utilizing analytics and automation to fulfill the diverse needs of department stakeholders, thereby fostering efficiency, effective communication, and overall team success. Prior to his current position, Cotton held the role of Director of Analytics and Business Strategy at Clemson Athletics from 2022 to 2024, where he demonstrated exceptional skill in data-driven decision-making and strategic planning. His professional journey began with the Buffalo Bills, serving as a Data Analyst from 2018 to 2022 and gaining invaluable insights into the operational dynamics of a major NFL team.

In 2022,  Cotton further assumed the role of Director of Analytics at Clemson Athletics.
