Stacey Hitzelberg Added To Clemson Athletic Training Staff

July 13, 2006

CLEMSON, SC – Clemson’s head athletic trainer Danny Poole has announced the addition of Stacey Hitzelberg to his staff. Hitzelberg will work primarily with Clemson’s men’s and women’s swimming and diving and rowing programs.

A native of Fairfax, VA, she earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise and health promotion from Virginia Tech in 2003. Hitzelberg then came to Clemson where she served as a graduate assistant for three years. She was responsible for the men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams in her first year before working with the men’s soccer program for the past two years, including the 2005 NCAA Final Four squad.

“I enjoyed being at Clemson during my three years as a graduate assistant,” Hitzelberg said. “I am looking forward to continuing to be a part of the Clemson family.”

Hitzelberg earned a master’s degree from Clemson University in human resource development in May of 2006.
